The payout

$50 pot ÷ 17 skins won = $2.94 a skin.

Dave 8 skins $26
Jim 4 skins $11
John 3 skins $8
Mark 2 skins $5

Rounded down to the dollar, with the $3 left over going to the most skins, so it pays out in notes. 1 skin still carried after the 18th, which dissolve — dividing by the skins that were won is what shares them out.
